 CAFE’s Aims

We aim to improve the quality of life for elderly people in care homes by providing creative activities and music concerts. The benefits to residents of such activities include:

• Promoting social interaction
• Engaging mind and body
• Building self confidence
• Passing time creatively
• Providing choices
• Promoting a sense of community
• Encouraging reminiscences

Relatives also benefit knowing that their loved ones are occupied constructively. Here are some comments made by participants:
